Newton Public Library

Newton Parks, Recreation & Culture

Cooper Center for Active Living

The purpose of the Cooper Center for Active Living in Newton, MA, is to serve as a modern, multigenerational hub for older adults and other residents by providing programs and spaces that foster physical, social, and mental well-being. Its goals are to help seniors remain independent and engaged, create a strong sense of community, and optimize their quality of life through activities ranging from fitness and arts to educational lectures and social events. The center also aims to serve the broader community with multigenerational activities when not in use by older adults.
